synopsis;

Buddy is a human that was raised by elves in the north pole in santa's workshop. when he becomes aware that he in in fact not an elf he goes in search of his human family where he finds his father in New York City.

Ruldoph mention; you do see that santa does have 9 reindeer but he never mentions any of them by name..

Ok so I am not a huge Will Farrell fan but I dont mind him at all in this film. It is really cute and its kinda like seeing christmas through the eyes of a child but coming out of a grown mans mouth. Because he is an adult he can get away with eating all the candy, pop and all the sugars he wants, which is usually all kids want to do!

The story in this film is really good, there is not enough magic surrounding christmas and because of Buddy coming into everyones lives it makes them believe again.

I dont really get the big deal on the Central Park Rangers, they make them all big and scary and I get why they are there but nothing really became of them, they just ran around...

I cringe everytime buddy is eating a piece of gum off the railing, and adding all that chocolate syrup and poptarts and candy to the spaghetti... fun fact here is that they had to film this twice because Farrell threw up the first time! Can not blame him on that...

Peter Dinklage makes a small cameo as a very well known child's author who you would think would be a happy caring person but in reality he is kinda a dick and uses his money on frivolous things and women and hosues. I dont think I have ever actually seen him play a good person... but then again Ive never seen game of thrones.. is he a decent person in that?

Zooey is actually singing in those scenes.

I dont really know what more to say about this movie, It is has now become a classic christmas film for all to see for its wholesome family values and the spirit of christmas.

Fun fact; the elf Ming Ming is actually Ralphie from A Christmas Story
